What psu should i use ?

I am building my first gaming pc and I am wondering what psu is should use.
specs:

gpu: gtx 770 asus OC edition( I will overclock this card)
cpu : I5 4690k
mobo: msi z97 gaming 3
ram : 2x4 gb
hdd: seagate 1 tb

Please help me out because I can't decide what psu to get.

XFX or Seasonic. Yes, there are others but with these two vendors you don't need to think twice. 550w is fine for a single GPU. Upgrade that to 750w if you plan on adding a second GTX 770 down the road.

It's more than you need for a system with a gtx770, but the price is amazing.


I saw that on PCPartPicker too, but questioned how valid it was. On Newegg that turns out to be $70 after rebate. NCIXUS.com has it for $50 after rebate, but then charges $14 for shipping. Too bad! That would have been a hell of a deal. From the list linked below, I would look at the XFX 550w then the SeaSonic 620w..
