Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded my previous PC build and am very pleased with the results. (I left AMD for Intel and it's awesome!!!!) However it kinda dawned on me that maybe my PSU might be a bit overkill? Now I'm having a war in my mind that I won't be getting the full efficiency from my PSU to my system, and i go back and forth to the point where it just irritates me. My system details are below:

CPU- 4790k with H100i
GPU- MSI Radeon R9 290x
MOBO- MSI Z97 Gaming 5
RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8GB
STORAGE- Samsung EVO 250GB, WD Blue 1TB x2
CASE- Obsidian 650D
PSU- Corsair HX750 Gold

What do you guys think? Is my PSU just right? Or should I change it? I'd really appreciate your thoughts and comments!

A quality 600-650 watt PSU is enough for any single GPU card. Those specs will draw about 475 watts (5 fans, 2 radiator, 3 case) under load with the 4790k @ 4.5GHz and 1.350 volts. If you will upgrade to a crossfire setup in the future, consider at least a 850 watt PSU.

Unfortunately I already have the PSU, as I really only switched platforms from my old setup. I also bought the HX750 with the idea that maybe sown the road it will start degrading and the extra watts would come in handy like you said, however I read somewhere that having a PSU that has more watts than your system needs tends to make it draw even more power, and I want to avoid that.
