Hello

Recently i´ve been having a problem with my computer when using my browser, more specifically when watching videos on youtube my computer slows down causing the video screen to go black or to display the message "an error has occurred". At first i thought it was my graphics card because the drivers would crash from time to time, so i decided to remove it and try my computer like that, but still had the same problem. I apologize if this question is in the wrong forum but at this moment i have no clue what might be causing it.

thank you

edit: Thanks to the reply of tramik i i got the idea to try to test my processor (Intel core duo E4500 @ 2.2 ghz),. I used the Hot CPU Tester Pro program, i dont know how reliable is but when it finished testing my processor it only reported 1 core, could it be that one of the cores failed and the computer is only working with 1?
Is it possible for that to happend (that only 1 core fails but the computer can still function)?
anyway thanks for the help

Organize your Processes list by CPU usage and tell us what's capping you out.

So i was able to solve my problem, what caused my computer to slow down was that my cpu was only working with 1 core, thats why i'd suddenly get spikes on its performance. I realize that in my bios settings the option of Core multi processing was disable, once it was enable my computer started to work normally again.
Thanks for all the help
