I have an asrock f2a55m-vg3+ motherboard. The front panel connector is 4 pins on the top and 5 pins on the bottom but its one plug. Anyways i have an M11BB desktop case and it has one of those long system panels connectors and one smaller one attached to it. The smaller one is the the exact shape as the one on the motherboard. Should i ignore the big one and connect the smaller one to the motherboard? ask question if something is unclear!

I don't think I can tell what you are talking about from the description.

Sounds like you are mixing an OEM case with a purchased motherboard. It should have all the right wires, might just be a matter of removing the pins from the connector and going straight to the motherboard with them.

If you push down on the metal showing part with a small screwdriver/paperclip, like in this fan connector, and pull on the wire you can get down to the individual pins. http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&docid=OJ6HuM9ZzSG8XM&tbnid=pZ_SVEE78i3F3M:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.robotshop.com%2Fen%2F100mm-f-f-4-pin-jumper-wire.html&ei=NOP8U4SYBIb8yQT8h4LoDA&bvm=bv.73612305,d.aWw&psig=AFQjCNFLBDfJD6ZZ9PoI0JduahH7tXm8ng&ust=1409168489780756

The motherboard manual should have a diagram showing which pins are what.

I know its an OEM came but the 9-pin connector has the top 4 pin row all filled with pins but not the bottom and i dont need the bottom because they are just HDD led and Reset which i dont have in my case. Can i plug in the header if all the pins touch Power-led- and + Ground and Power button but just leave the bottom row not touching any pins.
