Hi, I am wanting to build a budget Intel Core i7-4790K Build and I have a question about the motherboard I want to get, I want to get the GIGABYTE GA-Z97M-DS3H. But my question is, will I loose any performance on my processor if I do not go with a higher end board like the GIGABYTE Z97X-UD3H. I plan to get the R7 265 Graphics Card and 16GB of DDR3 RAM.

Just get the GA-Z97M. Another thing, 16gb ram is almost useless. 8gb is enogh for single gpu setup and ur gpu isn't that powerful at all. Don't spend unnecessarily on useless things. Get the GA-Z97M and 8 or 12 gb ram and get the r9 270 if u want very good gaming experience. Hope I helped
