Get manufacturer's serial number of HDD in Windows 7

Hi all,
I am looking for the manufacturer's serial number from each of my HDDs as matched to a drive letter in Windows. That is I want to know the manufacturer (not Windows) serial number of drive E:\ for example.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Booted1g, I do not understand your question. I am trying to identify manufacturer serial number against drive letter, how is powering it off going to let me do this?
