re-sizing Win 8 start screen tiles

I don't want to re-size the tiles as defined by Microsoft, I want to shrink them. If it is wide, stays wide, but whole tile is shrank smaller, sort of like reduce its pixels ...

Sorry. Ballmer believes you (and all users) are unworthy of having such useful, individual controls, so those were taken away. You must use what Ballmer wanted. In his famous words, "Shut up and do it my way."
