Hi,
i recently built a Hackintosh that dual boots into windows 7 and when i tell the computer to sleep (in either OS) it'll all power off as you expect in a sleep (makes the clicking sound to indicate power is off to peripherals) and then it spools up again as if it was waking form sleep or powering on (fans, lights i think hdd's). Also the screens stay off so i am not certain to whether it is waking or it is a issue with the fans. There are also no issues actually coming out of sleep, no freezes etc it seems only to be the fans.
My components are as follows:
Corsair CP-9020056-UK (PSU)
Gigabyte Z87X-OC Motherboard
Nvidia gigabyte gtx 780
zalman Z11 plus
aerocool racer (i think) fan controller
i7-4770k
16 gb crucial low profile ram
2x crucial m550 ssd's
3tb spinning HDD
500 gb 2.5 inch (from PS4 for Time Machine(why not eh ;) ))
corsair h100i water cooler
My feeling is its either an issue with the motherboard, PSU or mackintosh itself
Thanks in advance
