A 3D cartoon? No, it is not suitable. This laptop has a graphics card integrated into the CPU (specifically it has Intel HD 4600 Graphics) which are not very good at all at rendering 3D cartoons. It could take a very long time to render and may not even be powerful enough depending on the intensity. Many laptops for a similar price have a Nvidia GTX860m graphics card which is independent of the processor. This is probably 3X as powerful and will suit your needs for rendering, Make sure the computer you buy also has a powerful processor, for a laptop above 2.3Ghz perferably and at least 8GB of RAM since rendering environments takes up quite some memory at times.
