I got a windows 8 laptop from a friend (http://www.toshiba.ca/productdetailpage.aspx?id=2147496267) and I have an old tornapart (Nothing left in the laptop) windows 7 HP laptop (Not sure what specific laptop). On the back on the HP laptop, was the windows 7 home prem OA sticker, with the product key. Is there a way I can downgrade my windows 8 laptop and use the old HP's product key? (I have no CD's for windows 7, but can I just download an ISO? This is the one Im currently downloading. Thanks everyone, hope you can help!

nope. Win7 oem is tied to the motherbd it was installed to.

The one you are downloading will work but wont accept the key you have. It will giove you 30 days to produce a valid key I beleive.
You can contact HP for restore disks if you wish but they will load all the wrong drivers for the toshiba.

No problems with windows 8, Ive been using it for over two years, and know its inside and outs, but I really still prefere Windows 7. If I buy a copy of windows 7 premium online, I could install it that way?
