If you have the money, I would totally upgrade, just not with Alienware.
For 7000$ you can get a beastly PC. Let us know if you want some build suggestions.

You just need to add the peripherals of your liking, and you`re set.
TBH, with Alienware, you`re paying quite a bit for the name as well, not just for the parts.

I believe the reason why Alienware is as expensive as heck is because they use high quality parts in their systems. Other retailers may go for cheap and market them as good and the shipping gorilla may kick the parts (arrive DOA). No offense.I totally understand.
However, all the parts I recommended are top notch, and with great reviews.
The CPU is exactly the same, the cooler is one of the best air coolers available, the motherboard the same, great, faster and double the size RAM, 1 TB SSD of the best kind (a lot faster than HDDs) with additional HDD storage (WD Black - one of the best available), SLI 780ti`s, the most powerfull single-processor GPU`s available today, and from a great brand (EVGA), and Platinum certified PSU from one of the best (if not the very best) PSU manufacturers - SeaSonic.
So I understand your fears, however the build I gave you has all cherry-picked parts that will not dissapoint.
It`s up to you to choose what you like more, since I just wanted to provide you with an alternative.
Anyway, I would totally upgrade from that Pentium 4 (even if it`s a very good one) if money is not a problem.

How much is that Alienware? I bet I could build it myself for half the price That Alienware computer is almost $7000!!
I can build that exact Alienware for around $3000. I'll build you an ultimate future-proof gaming rig for less than that
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Lvhfxr. This will max out any game at any resolution. I left out Case and Peripherals and all the extra storage for you to decide. Whatever you do NEVER buy Alienware. It's just overpriced garbage

I don`t think you`re going to find it on sale as just the case, but you can check on Craigslist, maybe you`re lucky.
In the meantime, check this case, as it has really good reviews, and for me it looks really nice. I`m actually thinking of trying to sell mu case and buy one of these: http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/95-phantom-410-mid-t...
Edit: You can also check this case (and look for others) with included fan and LED controller: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA...
