What gaming headset can you recommend to me in my price bracket?

They will be mainly used for CS:GO and just general games like that. Sound quality is the most important thing that i need.

Thanks! :D

Steelseries siberia v2 http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Siberia-Full-Size-Gam... or Razer Carcharias http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Carcharias-Gaming-Headset-X... I have used both of these headsets and I think they are some of the most underrated ones on the market. If you can get surround sound software or a good sound card for either of these (I believe Razer has free synapse surround sound if you buy the headset) they sound amazing for the price. And they both have decent in line mics, so you can't go wrong. The siberia v2 is a closed ear headset while the Carchias is open ear. Open ear gives you better sound quality but it bleeds audio and you can hear everything around you, but the siberia are great at keeping auido out. You can't hear anything outside of them and they don't bleed any sound. If you're going to get a Razer headset, do not get the Kraken. The Kraken is one of the worst deals on the market, go with any of Razer's others headphones. The Carcharias will sound just as good if not better than the Kraken. The Tiamat is also a good headset but the improvement over the sound of the Carcharias is really negligible unless you get the 7.1 version which is veryi expensive, I believe around 140 dollars

Also, the Logitech g430 is great and it comes with built in surround sound, although it really doesn't have much better directional/positional audio than the average stereo headset in the price range. Logitech always makes great products, and that headset is no exception. You could throw that thing down the grand canyon and it would still work like when you first bought it.

Thanks dude, im considering getting the siberia v2, but i've heard reports of them being unreliable and that they break down within a few months?

Well, the Siberia v2 has a one year warranty that comes with the headset by default, and yes, the mic is known for breaking because of the method by which it retracts into the headset. If you are careful with it though, it should be just fine and last you quite a while. I think the problem is a lot of people aren't careful with their headsets and blame the manufacturer when it stops working.
With that being said, the Razer and Logitech headset will provide you with better build quality. They're not metal or some sort of indestructible plastic, but they are damn near impossible to break. If you travel with your headset a lot or your throw your headset around, I wouldn't recommend the siberia v2. It's just too easy to mess up. And, if you siberia v2 breaks down in a few months, you've got the warranty and you can get shipped a brand new headset. Steelseries also has good customer service

So in that case I should probably go for the Siberia v2 due to better sound quality. And anyway I'm pretty careful with things like headphones and such...

Thanks for all your help dude! :)
