Yes, it should be just fine. It's made by Super Flower, one of the best PSU makers around. Great PSU with more than enough watts/amps for the R9 270X.

Thanks for the answer, then i double checked with my psu and the 12V rail was different that what it sais on the site, i foound this pdf on the same site with different info, i am confused now http://www.sentey.com/media/datasheet/en/Power%20Supplies/08-hbp500.pdf

Is this still strong enough? Is that also built by Super Flower? why would they have two versions of the same PSU?

They are both the same PSU, the HBP500-SM, but it looks like one of them is a newer revision. One has a 5 year warranty, the other a 3 year, and they have a little different specs as far as watts on the +12v rail etc. They are both made by Super Flower and both recommended PSUs.
