The AMD HD 6970 might be better but the AMD HD 6970 is old.

How many 6-Pin PCI-E does the AMD HD 6970 need to power it up?, Does it come with 6-Pin PCI-E ?

The SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R7 265 is great, Only needs 1 6-pin PCI-E to power it up and it comes with the 6 pin PCI-E

Im kind of new to all this, Just want help.

What do you guys think?, The AMD HD 6970 is much cheaper then the SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R7 265 but the AMD HD 6970 is old.

Go with the AMD HD 6970 or SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R7 265?

I would, at first thought be tempted to say that the 6970 would be a faster card, as it was a flagship card from a generation and a half ago. That being said, I would be tempted to take my $200 to craigslist and snap up a used 7970. That's exactly what I did when I went to crossfire my 7970, and I couldn't be happier.

Happy building

So the 6970 you would go for out of them two? but how many 6-Pin PCI-E does it need? to power it up? and what watt does it need?

Looks like one 6 pin and one 8 pin PCI-E is what you'll need for the 6970 - bottom card is the 6950.

So, just to clear something else up, in your original post you mentioned that the 265 comes with its own 6 pin connector. This isn't typically the case, as this pci-e power connector comes from your power supply. I would double check that your power supply has the available connector before buying any graphics card, otherwise you will be looking at buying a new one.
