So I was contemplating getting myself the I7 4930k and an MSI x79 motherboard as part of an upgrade process form my current rig. So currently I have an 3770 and a GTX 760 with 16Gb ram and a Corsair CX600M PSU, the GPU and ram I was planning on moving over to the new board and I was wondering if I would need a new PSU as well to power the new hardware and the old stuff. (As a note I am planning on getting the GTX 880 when it is released so yes I know I should get a new GPU to match the CPU's power and a new psu)

Solution
well, cx class corsair PSU is not an excellent PSU..
but it's still decent..good quality output at maximum load, low ripple etc etc etc..

the only problem is only PSU durability..
but it's still capable to handle your system well..six core extreme intel and gtx760..

don't worry, go for it.
