So i got a new GTX 760 for cristmas 6 months ago and recently it has been making a buzzing sound. When i turn my computer off for the night and come back on in the morning, it is not there, but later it will start to make a buzzing sound. I made a youtube vid so u can hear it.

Could be that the GPU fans got a little loose for whatever reason and are starting to shake a little? Also, when you turn it off for the night, the load on the GPU also goes off, thus the fan speeds go down as well and it becomes more stable and less shaky. Has this been happening since the time you bought it, or is this a new issue?

it is a new issue and so after i turn it off for the night, when i turn it back on, it will go about 2-3 hours with out making any noise, then it will. it will continue to buzz even after I close everything out. it seems that it only stops after having many hours of rest. even when i rester my pc it keeps going

The heat doesn't go away that easily. Can you please monitor the heat of the GPU when you first start your computer and the buzzing sound isn't there, to when it starts to show up and let me know?

i tapped on the case near where i thought the noice was coming from and it quieted down. does that mean anything?
