I'm new to building computers and not very handy, but I thought I tried building a gaming pc from parts. I watched videos online and it seems simple, but I might screw up somehow.

I currently own a mouse and mechanical keyboard. My budget is $1500 or lower.

Here is the parts I selected, I have a computer store in my city called memoryexpress in winnipeg they do price matching, so I might just get the parts there.

I mainly want to play counter strike go and starcraft 2 expansion with medium, 100-150 fps at good resolution and maybe stream. I hope to upgrade in the future and save money maybe add another gpu and overclock in the future, just to learn, but not sure if I understand how yet.

I greatly appreciate anyone's time for reviewing this list:

128 gb will last you a week... no joke. 2 8 gb sticks is cheaper and will yield better performance. In fact, 16 gigs is total overkill for this.
4 gb is worthless on this particular card since it does not have enough bandwidth to handle it, which means you have wasted money. This one is much better for you. I changed a few things, i.e mobo, RAM, GPU, added an HDD and changed the SSD. Cheaper, and yet much better. Also, I am pretty sure that this will max those games out at 60+ fps (no streaming), however, feel free to check me on that.

Also many cards will have trouble getting to 100-150 GPS because of game optimization. But in all reality there is no need to even get to 100 even for streaming/ recording video because the services lower the FPS to less then 40 regardless. Also like I said before you would be able to notice any difference between 60 fps and 100

that seem silly to me... a pair of good R9 290 cards will run you $800. more if you want the nicer ones. the cheap, sub $400 R9 290 cards have terrible reviews and high RMA rates.

if you are going to blow that much money, should have either bought one 290x now and saved for a second 290x. OR, should have just went for R9 295x2

just my $0.02
