motherboard - asrock extreme4 z97
2x4gb 2133mhz ram
750w gold fully modular power supply

I ran stability test on Aida64 to have a look at the numbers. The max temperatures at stock 4.0ghz while doing the test were 55-60degrees. At the same time the voltage was 1.166V.
Before I start playing in BIOS I wanted to ask you if those numbers seem to be correct. It is my first build which i finished few days ago, so I want to be 100% sure.
Everything else is running fine (applications, games etc.)

Those temps look about right. What kind of CPU cooler are you going to be installing? I wouldn't overclock the stock cooler as you're going to be putting out way too much heat, especially when you start tweaking voltages

Is that with the stock cooler? And not many people have worked this CPU. I have my 4790K 100% stable at 4.7Ghz, but if I stress mine with 99% loads with Prime95 or OCCT my temps are up to 90'C and my idles and normal load temps are about 30-40'C max. This is with an EKWB Supremacy Full Nickel block in a 6 radiator loop. The loop never gets above 31'C.

Anyways, the other stories I've read say about the same for temps. For some reason even with great cooling the damn thing is still at high temps. Stock speeds I'd be at about 60'C with Prime95 running though.

Depends on your chip and motherboard to honest. You should be able to though. This chip is way easy to OC. I'm using an ASRock Z97 OC Formula motherboard though.

Ive got AsRock z97 extreme4 motherboard. Also ive got a question about Memory effective clock which is set at 1333mhz, while my memory is 2133mhz. Does it mean it runs at 1333mhz?

Yes, until you set it to run at 2133Mhz in your Bios settings. As for the CPU, its just down to whether or not you have a good chip or a not so great one.

All memory will be automatically set at 1333Mhz or 1600Mhz stock and anything after that you have to "OC" the sticks to the settings you want and got them for. It's kind of weird to be honest.
