Both will do a good job at 1080p, but the better performer will depend on the game. Certain games, such as Battlefield 4, seem to favour AMD GPUs, whilst other games, such as Batman: Arkham Origins seem to favour Nvidia.

The 750 Ti is arguable the better of the two, given that performance is similar but the power consumption is much lower.

How much are the R7 265 and 270 where you are? They are an extra $10-$20 over the 750 ti around these parts, which make things a no brainer. An extra 20%-30% performance over the 750ti for that money, very nice.
