As you can see in the title.
R9 280X give error 'Dispay drivers have stopped responding and have recovered'
While playing BF4. Also, the fps bounces from 40 to 80 fps on high with no msaa. ive seen benchmarks of it giving 50 fps on ultra with 4x msaa. Pls help :(

Hello. It's mainly driver problem. I had these "Display drivers have stopped... " also but after drivers update everything fixed. Make sure you are using newest drivers (no BETA). If so, try to rollback

I had it on 1020 MHz factory settings and then i upped it to 1100 MHz. My drivers are v 14.4 Same results in both settings. My other (neccessary) specs are:
Intel i5 4440
Kingston HyperX 1600 MHz (4*2) 8 GB DDR3 RAM

I have 14.4 catalyst drivers and since I was running BF4, I have been running 14.4 catalyst drivers only. Also, all other games(BF3 and Skyrim) run alright.

Only BF4 eh? Everything else runs fine? That usually points the finger at the odd man out then...which in this case is BF4.

Try downloading the AMD driver removal tool, along with a fresh copy of the latest stable catalyst drivers (delete old downloads on your pc to be sure). Use removal tool, go through the motions, reinstall drivers, restart PC, and see what happens.

Also, the FurMark benchmark that I got on my R9 280X was 3224 pints. It was a 15 mins burn in test @ 1080p with MSAA off. Watch Dogs gives me 20 FPS on Ultra with Temporal MSAA
