What Memory would look and perform best for my PC?

I have always relied on G.Skill and i still am. I want (2x4GB) Memory kit and so far the ones i like are the G.Skill Ripjaws X Series Red (2x4GB) and the G.Skill Sniper Series (2x4GB). From what i have researched on they are exactly the same in every possible way they just look different and this may seem like a dumb question but, what set of memory would look best in my GIGABYTE GA-H97-Gaming 3 motherboard beside my MSI R9 280? My case is Matte black with 5 Corsair LED fans.Yea i know most of my internal components are red and black but i was wanting a Blue motherboard with the H97 chipset and GPU for my i5-4690 but there were not much options so i went with the best quality possible in the H97 chipset which was tied between Gigabyte and Asus. I bought my components on quality instead of looks so i had to ignore the color sickness it would cause, lol. But now since it comes down to both products being the same i can actually choose on looks now, so what would be best looking one for my build?

You know what you are doing.. you picked the two best kits to match with it. For looks that stand out, the Red RipJaws X are definitely the choice. But the black Sniper design is also very cool.

G.Skill RipjawsX are also a great choice.You don't need the Dominator RAM,it's not any better than some other RAM,like this G.Skill or their Corsair Vengeance.That's the first thing I've learnt on this forum.

Not giving any thought to the quality can rapidly turn a nice rig into a paperweight, you ALWAYS have to give the quality of the component thought also.....I don't know how many rigs I've seen and threads about people who bought based on 'looks' and end up with long sad stories

But dominators perform well, I can name quite a few components that perform well but look good, asus rog series, asus sabertooth, corsair 760T, obviously it doesn't apply to every compoenent but I'm just saying that the dominators aren't bad are they?

Huh? The two memory kits i choose are at the very top of quality 2X4GB Memory out there and with the best reviews and ratings. I never said i was "JUST" buying my components for look wise i just said what one of these two "High Quality" memory chips will look the best since they are both exactly the same, they just look different and are a different color. Only mentally retarded people build a computer on looks and nothing else. Just asking what one of the two would look best for my motherboard.

You would have to choose for yourself, the one type of memory may look good on a board TO ME, but it may not look as good TO YOU. I just recommended some other good performing RAM that look nice

In my opinion the Dominator is one of the highest quality Memory but good lord the thing is inbred its so ugly, i mean it is a disgrace to Corsair, they need to make it look at least 0.01% decent. But quality wise it kills all in my opinion.

It looks so stylish the way that it can fit into any colour scheme, with ripjaws or any otehr RAM, they're always one specific colour, like the ripjaws are red/blue etc, I'm getting avexir for my build but the dominator looks sleek imo

Gskill's RAM are just too show offy and too yobbish imo

I was simply stating in response to the comment that it's not about Quality - because it is, you don't want to spend money on junk just because it's pretty, a single junk component could fry your rig....i.e. yes the GSkill sets are top quality, the Dominator's are also good sticks, though I'm not really into paying a bit of a premium just to have the Corsair name on them (which you do)

Hah yea i agree, i just thought you were saying that i was buying just on looks and not qualitylol. My first build i bought a Raidmax PSU and luckily i found out it sucked so i sent it back, got a refund, and ordered a XFX 550W.

for ya, one time me and my friend was going to walmart and as we were getting ready to pull in some jerk pulled in fast taking our spot and he gave us the middle finger, at first we just ignored it but than the dude rolled down his window as we started to back up to go find a new spot he started cursing at us saying stuff like "Your lucky you didn't hit my car my dad bought this for me , your lucky because my dad would beat you, well lets just say never piss off a Redneck in a extremely tall jacked up truck". We just pushed the gas forward and ran over the hod of his car just like a monster stuck does, it was crazy! lol The dude just sat there with his eyes big as we drove away feeling like a boss lmao
