Hey Von Swordfish. I agree with @increator about that. You won't have any compatibility issues at all. The WD Green drive is in fact cool and quiet and is usually recommended to be used for second storage, but depending on what you are going to use your new build it should be ok as a primary drive (even though I would recommend the WD Blue drive for a general usage PC). If on the other hand you need a performance enhanced drive for gaming, video editing, demanding programs etc. - I recommend that you take a look at the WD Black drive.
