Hey guys i have this pc:
Fx 6300 * mobo 970a-g43 * 8 gb ram * gtx 660 * ssd 128gb kingston * hdd 500gb * xfx 550w. Monitor: hp w2408 at 1920*1200

So what would you do now?
A: buy a console to play exclusives.
B: upgrade mobo and cpu
C: get a 1080p monitor
D: wait for de 800 series.

I have 500€ to spend on gaming so i have no ideia if is worth it to upgrade pc or is better to stay with the money.

Ps: i have my pc pluged also to my 42"lcd 1080p on my living room

Solution
I have never seen multiple choice questions on the forum before but polls. I am glad to see something new. Goon on ya mate! :D

I will pick B then after that you do D.

Why?
Well if you await for the 800 Series then the GPU May bottleneck the system and you will not get the highest performance and reach its full potential. So if you upgrade the CPU and motherboard and save some money for the 800 series when it is released.

I am not familiar with Euro currency but if I am not mistaken you can get a 8350 CPU and a motherboard (can't think of a good one on the top of my head).

You know.. we have to inovate loool

And if i put on 800 series graphic card, my xfx 550 will suply the system?
I am thinking on z97 gaming 5 + i5 4670. And then a graphic from 8 series at 300€ max.

Will it make a huge diference comparing to the system i have now?

Thanks :d

Well currently a 750Ti is probably the most that you will get to fit with the PSU. However don't forget that the 800 series will be use less power and will be faster. So maybe a 860 will fit it that PSU but maybe not. Well just have to wait. So maybe upgrade the CPU, motherboard and PSU is a good start in my opinion.

Yes you can get the i5-4670 but you wouldn't need a Z97 series as your CPU is locked. So maybe consider a H97 motherboard and an i5-4690 instead. Then buy a PSU with the arming money. Yes it will make a big difference and will consume less power as it is Intel.
