I am on a tight budget, and i know that the GTX 760 performs better in all aspects compared to the 270X. The only place where i can buy computer parts is Amazon because I don't have any electronics store near me.
And the problem is the price difference between them is 60 pounds. I need someone to tell me if the higher performance of the GTX 760 is worth justifying the 60 pounds gap.

Here are the links to both parts:

GTX 760 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DMUN9TE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

R9 270X - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Dual-X-Radeon-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B00FL8H49Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1409143230&sr=1-1&keywords=r9+270x

Solution
760 its totally worth that money. 760 it the sweet spot for 1080p 60 fps at high settings, and its a much better card overall compared to r9 270x. nVidia also gives better features and drivers. Gtx 760 will last you lomger and give you a much better experience :)

I'm not from the UK, which makes it even harder if I order parts from multiple sellers. It can add up pretty quickly, when I was still choosing parts, there were 3 pieces that weren't Prime, so when i checked to see how much I would pay in total, those 3 pieces would come in 3 different deliveries, which resulted in over 100 pounds just to send them

That's why I want to buy all the parts from Amazon, but if any of the sites that you listed have all the parts and/or cheaper, I'm open to suggestions

Still gtx 760 would outperform r9 270x by far. And you can overclock gtx 760 as well.
It can be a little more expensive, but it will be much better in the long term.
By the way op, you an get r9 280 for how many pouns more than gtx 760?

EXACTLY AT THIS PRICE POINT $100-$300 AMD owns... get the R9 280 (Recommend the XFX one) also in real life you won't really notice 5-10 Frames difference (worth $60?) the R9 270x actually beats it in BF4

Wow, gtx 760 will have much more than 5-10 fps increase. Id say even 30 fps in some games! And i dont know where u saw 270x beating 760 in bf4
OP get the xfx r9 280 or even the xfx r9 280x

In a game or two yeah but not most of the games, most will have 5-10 FPS difference.... Please don't judge when you don't have the right info.

He did say "tight budget" so why not go with a Sapphire R9 270 for a nice $169 + Rebates

You chose bf4, the game that runs much better in AMD than nVidia. Because gtx760 will give OP a better experience overall for a longer time :)

GTX 760 = $260
R9 280 = $240
R9 270x = $200

Lets check out the Performance (Comparison with Crysis 3 which favours intel and gives you your "15FPS" Difference)
GTX 760 Gets 58.9 FPS
R9 280x (OC 280) Gets 60.6 FPS
R9 270x Gets 46.9

Again I'd choose the 280 which preforms better in games and is even with games that favour Nvidia

Source, if you're saying its not from a good source
