M series of Lenovo back USB plugs not working

Certain USB ports in the back will work. Needing to plug in AIB sound, keyboard and mouse. It seems as though the four USB will not work

if you have tried plugging in other devices to see if they work In it first? it may be the device itself and are you referring to USB's located in the back of the computer or at the front ?
