I have installed 5 diff flavors in my machines. I was testing as to I would be comfortable with which one. But after testing all for 1 week, I came to the conclusion that Elementary OS is the best. Its based on ubuntu. Its no nonsense release, a very slick version. All required softwares can easily be downloaded from the software centre. It gives us the feel of MAC OS X. I request everyone to try.

That is the beauty of Linux. Many "flavors" are available and one is sure to please even the most discriminating of "tastes".

so true --- you see this -you look it over and put it on a pen drive boot it up check it out if you like it keep it if not your not out nothing but the time it took to play with it and your knowledge went up just a bit -- for free
