So, I had 562$ and tried getting advice from people on here but it wasnt what I was looking for, so i reached out to a Youtuber friend of mine and he built me this (il be upgrading ram to 8gb soon) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7FD4ZL he claims and alot of others claim that the build can play BF4 on Ultra High 1080p HD at 30fps, as well as being a 6 core good for slight editing (i dont ever plan on overclocking) and by slight i mean like i throw a 10 minute video into sony vegas with some text on it and render it out in 720p, however iv had a low spec computer all my life and im not picky when it comes to games, i wont be playing BF4 id rather play Skyrim on high 1280x720 at least, (i already bought the parts btw)also i was wondering how do i remove driver cages to make the graphics cards fit?and one last question. Are mail in rebates 100% guaranteed? this is my first time buying online aswell and id use the rebate money to buy the extra stick of ram :) Please and thank you for whoever responds!

Questions: Is this build good for the games I want to run like Skyrim, various MMOS on high 1280x720 at least?

How do I remove driver cages?

Are mail in rebates 100% guaranteed?

thanks again!

The hdd cages are riveted in, you have to drill or cut them out. And for that is a decent combo, similar to mine.

Mail in rebates usually are guaranteed unless they run out of funds or you submit it after the date specified.

I think it should have no problem with skyrim but have never played it. I run at 1600x 900 most games on high at 60+fps

Fx 6300 paired with r9 270x is nice for 1080p, you will be able to play skyrim and bf4 at 1080p no problem, tho id get 2x4gb (8gb) ram, and if you can also afford, get a gtx 760

That build can play Skyrim fairly well. It won't be as good as an intel build, but you'll still get an enjoyable experience. You should be able to achieve 60fps @1080p with that build.

One suggestion on an upgrade is to mitigate some of the budget from the case to get a better case. The motherboard will allow for a nice overclock which will boost your performance a nice bit, especially in a game like skyrim.

Another thing you could do is to take that budget and get the 8gb of RAM right off the bat, it'll help run the game better and have less issues with possible stuttering and what not.

Thanks! but im fine with playing in 720p will that make it run better than it would in 1080p?

If you can run 1080p, it will run better in 720p. Less pixels and what not to render per frame makes it much faster. I think RAM would be your limiting factor, but that really would depend on the amount of modding you'll do, if you do mod the game.

Of course, 1080p uses more gpu power, but with that system you can run any game at 1080p at medium most likelly, or even high in skyrim. But please get 8gb ram, dont get only 4gb. 2x4 g.skill sniper or ripjawys are very good.
