Ssd issues or motherboard?

recently whenever i try to install programs on my rig the ssd acts like it is frozen for the install but acts normally when accessing other stuff at the same time. any suggestions?

What SSD do oyu have? Frozen moments could mean a faulty SSD.

Do you get any BSoD in the rig? Or just the frozen problem.

Just the freezing and only while updating or installing programs. I can access other stuff on the ssd without issues though

I am thinking that is SSD problem, personally I would do a full backup of your SSD and do a full OS installation to see if that helps.
