I'm having BSOD issues when watching high quality videos, and from what I've gathered a lot of people say disabling hardware acceleration seems to help. However, I can't figure out how to do it. Going to the control panel and display options doesn't allow me to change it, some guides say to right click inside a YouTube video and hit settings, but I don't have a settings option.

Does anyone know how to disable hardware acceleration with this GPU?

if you are watching video online right click on the video click settings or global settings and uncheck hardware acceleration.. if you are playing with VLC or MPC click options and then click videos tab and then disable hardware acceleration..remember to choose this as solution as i am trying to raise too another level on this forum

what browser are you using to play youtube videos ? firefox ,IE and OPERa all use adobe where you can right click on the video and disable accelration but chrome doesnt.. in chrome you have to go into setting of the browser itself and then additional settings and scroll until you see the system tab.. uncheck the acceleration box and you should be set
