We live stream our church services. Recently upgraded from analogue to HD. Our Panasonic Camera videos in 1080i 60. Were using a Black Magic Pro card for capture and encoding.
Having problems with getting the video to capture and show on our PC desktop. Sometimes it will work fine, sometimes it freezes and goes black, sometimes it won't show anything but a black screen and twice it's crashed the computer. After consulting with BM tech it seems our Pro is working fine. Thinks it might be our graphics card.
Our PC motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H with an Intel HD 4000 graphic card. Could this card be our problem? And if so, what card would you suggest that would work with our MB? Since we just upgraded $ is somewhat of an issue in buying a new PC. Thanks

Solution
The HD 4000 is the integrated graphics on your CPU chip. Now that is fully sufficent for 1080p video so it should not be causing a major issue with playback. Its possible that the BM card is wanting just a little more from it but I dont want to just assume that.

What are the rest of the system specs, what cpu, memory, and power supply?

Also have a Black Magic Intensity Shuttle 3.0. Having the same identical problem using it.
