disable your cool and quite option in bios..

and if problem persist, try to overclock your processor..

btw, you can't replace you processor with fx series, different socket. if you wanna take fx class cpu, then you have to replace your motherboard too..

"LAG", as you describe it, is a matter of network connection, not graphics performance. Just download a framerate monitoring program (even fraps or bandicam) and see for yourself what the problem is.

And contrary to your overly optimistic belief, the card is not >>THAT<< good. If somebody told you that this card is "good enough", then that doesn't mean that you'll suddenly do 4k gaming on ultra settings at 200fps.:p

Do you realize that you will need to change the motherboard too? FX won't fit into your current socket.

Also AMD or intel does depend on your budget what budget. AMD is better for low budget as I guess yours is. I would recommend
an AMD FX 6300 as they outperform any comparably priced intel CPU also you need a new motherboard also you may be able to get a better APU

Have had similar setup and playing issues. It was my modem from the cable co. Called cable co. Verified they used/supported docsis3.0 and had to buy myself a docsis3.0 modem solved all my in home lag probs.
