Right now doing the external build and I've properly installed the CPU, the fan, the graphics card, and the power supply along with the cables provided. I switched the power supply on but I can't seem to find the power pins in order to turn it on. Need help badly!

The front panel pin header is typically on the left edge near the corner. The mobo manual should show it fairly clearly.

Not sure what you mean by power pins. There's an 8pin power cable that connects to the top left corner of the mobo, the 24pin cable that connects to the upper right side of the board, then you have a power switch connection from your case's power button to the front panel headers on the bottom of the board towards the right side. Should also have a reset button connector in the same area.

If any of those aren't connected, switch the PSU back off until they are.

If it's not one of those, maybe you can give us more details?

I found it but after I shorted them nothing and turning on the power supply nothing seems to be working. I made sure that I properly installed everything for the external build, so I don't know what seems to be the problem. I heard that sometimes installing 2 sticks of ram may be the issue but it does not seem to be. Any ideas?

Try uninstalling the GPU and hooking your monitor to the mobo I/O. You said installing two sticks of RAM doesn't seem to be the issue - is that because you've already tried with a single stick? Have you tried it in different slots and made sure that it's fully seated and locks engaged?

Did you mount the motherboard on standoffs (OR raised bumps if your case has them, but not both)? Make sure the CPU power connector is also plugged in.
