Is it possible to theoretically remove and use the hardware found in an xbox one and use it in something else say a PC for example or just anything else. They have GPU's, Hard drives, CPU,s the whole lot so are any of the parts in it usable anywhere else and if they were would their be some type of software that would need to be installed or any other type of workaround

Its "possible", fundamentally its all the same stuff in the Xbone/PS4 and a PC. However they dont have to conform to the same standards as a PC would, so thing like the RAM, GPU, CPU and all that are going to be soldered directly to the motherboard, unlike a PC where its removable and can be swapped out. Then there is software issues such as the fact there arent going to be any drivers for anything in it for conventional OS', etc.

The only real hope you have of using Xbox hardware in a "PC" (other than the HDD, which is the same interface and everything) is installing a custom OS to the Xbox (look up Linux PS3, basically that).

I don't think anyone has hacked or modded one to run normal Windows yet, not much cause to do so. You can build a nearly equivalent system for not much more then the price of an XBone. And with the steam machines coming out, there will be even less reason to do so.
