Hi there everyone im looking at getting a CPU fromFX series now i have posted on hear numerous times to ask but i was on youtube watching someone who was getting the exact same rig and he was achieving bf4 on ultra at 50 frames sometimes the least he got was 40-45. Then i watched another with the same rig and he was only getting 30 framesmaybe 35. why is there such a difference even on the same rig.
Rig was
AMD 8320 not OC
r9 270x 2gb GPU
8GB ram

You get 40-50 fps with that rig. The other one getting 30 fps its because he was showing his fps while recording with fraps probably, fraps decrease fps for 10-20 fps sometimes. Hope i helped

Unless the 2 systems are configured exactly the same, using the same components, running the exact same software and applications settings, you can't directly compare performance. You can infer performance levels, but not compare directly.

Also, take Youtube claims of performance with a grain of salt. Many are less than truthful in regaling their greatness.

There're many settings on Ultra, like AA, shadows, texture, Mesh, Effects, Motion blur (similar but still worth mentioning) and so-on. Having set the Graphics quality on Ultra doesn't make all other at max too. So that can be an imp point.

he was using fraps i think.so if i got the 8320 with that setup what could i run bf4 on high on MP. Im not bothered about ultra cause i have a ps4 anyway.

Yes you can, if you OC a little the 8320 you get the power of 8350 :)
Tho you should reduce AA a little in some cases cause r9 270x is the limiting factor in that system, still is great for 1080p :) Hope i helped.
