Hy !
I'm having issues with woofer noise and some undercurrent running through my laptop, when I connect my PC to the reciever through HDMI . It only occurs when my laptop's charger is connected, what could I do to avoid it ?

Sounds like an isolated grounds problem leading to a ground loop.

You can try a line-level ground-loop isolater, or try to fix the isolated grounds issue.

Do any of the cables from the PC cross the cables from the receiver or speakers including the speaker cable itself? If so, uncross it.

It shouldn't be a ground loop issue since it's connected via HDMI, it only affects analog connections in that manner.

Is the charging cable running near the AVR, sub, or the sub cable? If so, try moving it away from those areas.

I totally missed the fact that it was HDMI, but there is an HDMI ground pin thats shared between receiver/laptop. Assuming the digital/analog grounds are not separated properly in the receiver, I would think that ground looping could be an issue.
