Connecting wireless printer to desk top computer

You should be able to find the printer as part of your network.
I am assuming that both your computer and the printer are on the same subnet.
Now it doesn't matter if your desktop is running wireless or it is hard wired - if it is part of the network that the printer is on it should show up in printer wizard.
