hey fellas,

I'm using Evga Precision X 4.2. I have 2 cards on my SLI, primary card is Asus 660 DCU II and the secondary is EVGA 660 Superclocked. I'm already fond of the setup but i want my Asus to run exactly like EVGA's factory setup. In a nutshell i want 2 EVGA 660 Superclocked GPU s. How can i achieve this without ruining the stability i have? Another problem: When using Precision X V:5 i noticed that both cards are not being idle but working constantly at 1ghz but on the 4.2 version i could see the 3xx mhz idle position on both. Of course the new version creates more heat on idle (28 degrees vs 43). What is the meaning of this and what would you advise for both questions?

Thanx in advance...

Evga runs @ 1111 boost
asus runs @ 1034 boost

just increase asus core by 77, that low oc shouldnt be a problem

thanx for the speedy reply ;)  what about the voltage? i can see that EVGA uses more than Asus. Will it be ok if i copy the max values of EVGA and apply them to Asus through Precision X? Would it be that simple or am i thinking simple? :)  I don't want to sound like a noob after 19 yrs of computing. I mostly oc cpu's but i prefer buying worthy sets of gpu's and spare myself the time of mingling with those...I feel safer to get solutions from other experienced users and hit the spot. :p

if the 77 core OC is stable, there is no need to increase voltage, it only makes the gpu run hotter and consume more power.
