This problem is very frustrating and seems near enough impossible to solve. I have experienced this problem before, and last time I solved it by disabling the DNS client in my services. But now the service is still disabled and I am still experiencing this issue. I have attempted running a full scan on malwarebytes which turned up 4 results, which I quarantined, yet the issue still persists. If it helps, the preferred DNS IP address which is being entered is 127.0.0.1, which, I understand, is a local IP address, I am also using a BT Dual-Band Wifi Dongle to connect to my router wirelessly. I have tried deleting my network connections and re-enabling them which, obviously, didn't work. I am completely lost for ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I booted in safe mode and ran malwarebytes and AVG. They both came up empty. In the meantime, I have given up on trying to automatically acquire DNS addresses, so I obtained my primary and secondary DNS addresses from my home hub manager and put them in. The internet started to work again, until pages started failing to load. I looked in my adapter properties and, surprise surprise, my DNS address entries had been removed and replaced with the address: "127.0.0.1". When I looked in my DNS address list in advanced options in the properties section for my wireless adapter, I noticed there weren't any in there. So I put my own ones in. (which obviously were removed and replaced with 127.0.0.1.) After they were reset, however, I went back into the DNS address list and saw the address: "127.0.0.1". When I removed it and replaced it with my own addresses, they reset again. Any Ideas?
