Computer freezing while gaiming

hi
my rig: Asus gtx 670 dcuii,asus p9x79,g.skill 4x4 ,i7 3280 , 750w psu
when im playing bf 4 or bf 3 in 4-10 minutes my computer frizzes and i need to reset it

Install MSI Afterburner. You don’t need MSI hardware to run it.
Lower the Core Clock about 20 MHz. Leave the other settings untouched.
Make sure you save the settings in a profile and then click apply. You can lock the profile to avoid changing anything by mistake.
Click Settings and check “Start with Windows” and “Start minimized”, then click OK.
Restart your computer and start MSI Afterburner to make sure that your settings were saved.
Start gaming or whatever made your computer freeze in the first place. If your game still crashes after some minutes or hours of heavy load, try lowering the Core Clock even further.
If you have been playing for hours without your game freezing, then your problem is fixed.

I don't think lowering the gpu's clock and works is a fix. As the gpu should handle it's clocks as it was made. I'd run MSI too and a monitoring app like HWMonitor to check both gpu's and cpu's temperatures. Just game normally while keeping an eye on both and do tell us your temps when the pc freezes.

temperature is not a problem here have u watch the video the screen totally freezes and buzzing sound comes out...if its a heating problem then he would notice lags and then restarts or shutdowns this is completely different....either the motherboard or the GPU is failing or the ram is the culprit so i have seen that if its the GPU problem then underclocking it helps in some cases.

Yes I recall similar freezes with cpu overclocking failed and rams too .. Nevermind me op listen to the master here.

well then i am afraid its a serious hardware issue consult a technician i am quite sure either the card , motherboard or ram is faulty i hope its the ram because they are cheap.

What model is the RAM? Did you enable XMP Profile? Test one module at a time to see if one performs differently.

that is difficult to say the best way is to borrow a friends GPu for an hour to test with your system and make sure its the GPU fault .
