Many thanks in advance. This power supply is currently out of stock almost everywhere and i need an alternative. No more than £10 more expensive please, but if you can find/know of a cheaper one (which is of similar quality) do let me know! Many thanks!

You should be fine with any reputable PSU manufacturer such as: Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, etc. Just don't pick a PSU from one of their budget lines. Also check an article from this website to see who made the PSU if you're worried: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-psu-br...

Possibly, though PSU is not really a place to go cheap. Will look again. What is the real price you want to pay within £5 of optimally?

it should, although I have had two CX series sputter and die peacefully on me. So long as you don't push it too hard, it should more than suffice.

Trust me when I say "you don't want to cheap out on a psu". They can cause you all sorts of weird problems. Like unstable power. Ripples in the power. As in supplying too much. Then not enough. They may even render attempts at figuring out the problem futile. If you haven't suspected the psu to be at fault. Worse still. Your few extra bucks saved won't mean squat if the thing decides to blow up. Taking all your hard work. And carefully thought out plans. And dumping them effectively in the bin. Right before your eyes.

Can you suggest a very good PSU under the £80 mark compatible with this build?
