You may have been caught by a common error. The full proper sequence when resetting the BIOS is:
1. Move the BIOS Reset jumper to the Reset position.
2. Remove the battery for at least 15 seconds, then replace.
3. Move the Reset jumper back to its normal "run" setting.
4. Power on and immediately go into BIOS Setup. Go to the last set of screens and choose the option to "Load Optimized defaults".
5. If you know you had specific things customized - like, what is the Boot Priority Sequence, did you have a RAID array set up, etc. - reset those items properly.
6. SAVE and EXIT to boot.
Steps 4 and 5 are important. Merely powering up after a BIOS reset may NOT load the correct settings and allow your system to boot.
