What are these 2 large holes for in the case rear?

I have a Rosewill Challenger. Can anybody tell me what these 2 holes are for? They're in the top-right corner on the back of the case. It looks like they might be for cables?

Why would there be holes for cables back there?

They don't get used much anymore. But they are for old school liquid cooling. Some extreme liquid cooling people still use them, but rarely.

Yep, watercooling hose holes.

Either that or where the dust bunnies come in, but I doubt it.
