Ok guys, I need to increase my gaming performance and i need an advice on what should i upgrade first in my PC. I can only upgrade about 1 or 2 things a month, so what would be the best to upgrade first. Monthly budget is 100$ max (150$ for gpu).

My current specs are:

MoBo: GIGABYTE GA-P31-ES3G
CPU: Intel Dual Core E5300 2.6GHz (overclocked at 3GHz)
RAM: 2GB DDR2
GPU: Sapphire HD5770
HDD: 160GB (with 130 bad sectors and 18% health in HDD Sentinel)
PSU: 600W (branded)

Solution

yikes. i wouldnt even worry about mobo/cpu/ram/gpu yet.
your current HDD is obviously approaching total failure, and as far as this thread is currently concerned your PSU is certainly questionable.

HDD first, OP. squeeze in a decent PSU as well while youre at it. after that, it really depends on your budget.
sure, you could upgrade your ram...but that DDR2 is old school
additionally, if your mobo supports it you could upgrade to a Q6600/Q9550..although its still old tech and your have to buy used parts to...

save up some coin and do a total mobo/cpu/ram upgrade after everything else is taken care of. the GPU should be the last thing to upgrade
