Im planning to watercool my system which is:
i5-4670k(4.1ghz, doesnt want to go up any further)
Gigabyte R9 290 OC Edition(it is loud and it is hot, maybe i expected too much)

Watercooling comp:
Compression fittings aside
Alphacool ST240mm rad 30mm thick
Alphacool XT240mm rad 45mm thick.

Will it be enough to cool my GPU AND CPU?

Fans:
4 Noctua SP12
with 1 Corsair stock fan as exhaust

Solution
Ambient is the temperature in the room, if your in a cold room you get better convection from the RAD because of a bigger temperature difference between the air you push through and the temp of the coolant. Normal room temp is around 20 degC so i wouldnt expect you to have higher then 35 degC with that cooling setup.
My PC is in pieces at the moment (doing an upgrade) had a 8350 at 4.5GHz and 7970 O.C. edition, running with EK 480 thick, koolance CPU block, EK GPU block, fans are Yate loon 1650RPM on 3 speed controller, normally keep them and my pump at 1/2 speed, pump is koolance pmp450 bay/pump combo, upgrade will be whats in my signature line (another card and custom case)

You should only need 360mm of total cooling to keep the system stable, with 2x240 you will be fine (was running 8350 and 7970 on quad thick and it never went 10 deg above ambient on stress testing), assume you are getting full GPU cover for your card.

Yes i will be getting a Full GPU cover. ill be using r9 290. So wat is temp is to be expected from my GPU+CPU while playing games like: Metro, BF4, etccc..

I would expect ambient plus 10-15 deg C, to be regular loop temperature, mine was plus 2 on idle and plus 10 when running folding@home
That was my coolant temperature so parts may be a little warmer but still well within comfortable temperatures.

um wait, i dont understand the ambient temp. Like is it the idle temp? and what would be the max temp?
By the way, thanks for the replies and what is your PC SPEC and WC specs? Im curious to know
