Ic. but getting broadwell will means new mobo or the current 1150 can support it?
Broad well will retain the 1150 socket. Devil's Canyon prices I assume will be dropping a bit with the release of Broad well so I'd say get one of them.. I'm extremely happy with my I5 4690k.
It looks like Broadwell desktop CPUs will be out some time in Q3 2015, so about 8-12 months from now. If you need a new setup, a year is quite the wait. Especially for the 10% performance increase you're likely to see.
