Haswell refresh or wait for broadwell

Solution
Broadwell announce I believe is September. Whether you need to build now or can wait is up to you. I think the Devil's Canyon announcements is probably as good as it's going to get for a while. However, Broadwell will support DDR4 memory and faster SSDs in M.2 or SATA express. If you want that you have to wait.

Broad well will retain the 1150 socket. Devil's Canyon prices I assume will be dropping a bit with the release of Broad well so I'd say get one of them.. I'm extremely happy with my I5 4690k.

It looks like Broadwell desktop CPUs will be out some time in Q3 2015, so about 8-12 months from now. If you need a new setup, a year is quite the wait. Especially for the 10% performance increase you're likely to see.
