I7 4790k on a MSI Z87 motherboard

I bought the MSI z87-G45 to go with my I7 4790k
but i heard its a pain to get working on this z87 board, is that true? pretty sure devils canyon supports z87, is there like a bios update or someting?

BIOS update is needed for Broadwell support not the Haswell. And I don't think it should be any pain to work with Z87.

You may need a BIOS update to support devils canyon however most new boards will be shipped with the latest bios as they have been out a long time now

It needs the v17 bios, which has been out a long time

I have the same problem and the BIOS didn't solve it yet. I get Windows Error Messages all the time when I try to boot Windows.
Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
