Hello, the Shadowless Ranger here.

I am a younger PC gaming enthusiast and have been for a couple of years now. Lately I have been really interested in finding the minimum requirements for most games with a screen resolution of 1080p running on medium to high (preferably high) at around 60 frames per second. I realize that many games will be too intensive to run at these settings and still manage 60 fps so for games like Arma or DayZ Standalone, I will be wanting around 30 fps.

Note: I am not constrained on a budget as I am willing to wait many years to earn the money to purchase a machine, but I do not want to spend more that I need to, to get what I want. Also, I do want to have room to expand and keep up to date with most newer games.

Overclocking: I do intend to overclock and possibly water cool in the long run.

Parts: I am not interested in either AMD or Intel specifically, only wanting that I get what I need and that it is all compatible.

Thanks, The Ranger.

I think you can play medium high on like... fx 6300 or like an i3 or something with a decently good graphics card like the ones suggested above.

4gb of RAM can probably give a playable on medium in some games, otherwise 6gb for others (assuming you're just playing the game).

Thanks, I will take this into account and attempt to build a rig based on these standards and see how it goes.
