With my current setup, will a capture card help?

First off, I want to start livestreaming professionally and I get great fps in the games I play. But right when I start to stream, fps drops and it just gets real bad. Would getting a good capture card completely solve my problem? I am willing 200 bucks on one IF it seems I need one. I want to thank anyone for responding, I really appreciate the info :) I would probably use xsplit or OBS to stream.

My Computer specs:

650w power supply gold certified
radeon 7970 hd 3gb gpu
vishera 4.0ghz 8 core CPU
h100i cooling
8gb g skill ram
64gb SSD
1tb hardrive
Windows 7 64bit

PS...if you think I need a capture card, could you perhaps recommend one? Thanks again!!
PPS...would getting more RAM help perhaps?

Solution
A capture card only helps if it's in a separate computer, which is an option. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neKB_HxT448

A stronger graphics card would help as well, but it's gonna run you like $340-400
