Should be more than enough, I just changed the CPU cooler to the Noctua NH-L9i as it will perform MUCH better.

This build will let you play DOTA 2, though CPU wise it meets the minimum requirement. But with overclocking, you can easily meet the recommended requirement and this CPU is dual core as well. It will cope well with 750Ti.

Solid build for your DOTA 2 requirement. No issue.

Overkill for Dota 2, good for a variety of games. Also one of the best combinations for a mid-range ITX rig.

The PSU has some cheap components, might want to consider that. Still, I don't hear about many people having problems with it.

You know Dota 2 only recommends a Core 2 Duo at 2.4Ghz, right? The Pentium G3258 is twice as powerful even at stock.

:) Dear, Cor 2 Duo is powerful as compared to Pentium, generally speaking. This is special edition of Pentium which is overclockable making it more powerful. Anyhow, let us not go off topic here and help the OP in making a good build for his requirement. Shall we!

Yes, and the Pentium G3258 in his PC is twice as powerful as any Core 2 Duo. Read a bit more carefully, and don't call me 'dear'..
The Pentium line of CPUs is now a modern rebrand of haswell dual-cores without HT; far ahead of the older Core 2 Duos and even Core 2 Quads.

thanks! would you mind sending me to a link where there are benchmarks between the two coolers. I cant seem to find one. By the looks of it, the Gemini has heat pipes and a bulkier fin system. the noctua looks more or less like fins.

Really can't understand why are you like fighting with me. I was referring to pentium and core 2 duo from their start. I don't have any claim over what I don't manufacture. Who is talking about 5+ years here. This special edition of pentium has broken that comparison for sure.

Hopefully, I would have made my point of view (not claim) clear now :)

It's not just the special edition. It's every recent Pentium. That's what I'm trying to get you to understand.
The G3220, the G3420, the G3258, the G3430, etc. All of them use the modern haswell architecture and are far ahead of any C2D.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!!

Nah Jk. I;m settled on the pentium. All i need to know if i should get the noctua cooler or the CM cooler!

First, you might not need to OC to avoid a bottleneck on a GTX 750 Ti.
Second, if you do need to OC, go with the cheaper cooler. That Pentium's a 54w CPU; it'll be impossible to generate much heat, so even if the Noctua does cool significantly better, it shouldn't be necessary.
