Hey so i just recently built my 1st pc with overclocking in mind. I grabbed a g3258k because of it being a K series intel cpu and to pair with it i also grabbed a MSI h81m-p33 mobo i got this because i read somewhere that if i downloaded the newest bios for the mobo id be able to OC the CPU but i havent had any luck the cpu remains locked and wont let me multiply any further than its stock 3.2ghz ive been trying to OC with MSI intel extreme tuning utility at this point im doubting i can OC with this mobo and considering just buying a Z87 or Z97 mobo with i really dont want because its kinda dumb wasting more $$ on my mobo than my cpu but if if any one knows any way to OC the cpu with this MOBO PLEASEE let me how and if its just not possible to oc with board again PLEASE just let me know :/  thanks and much appreciated

I'd contact MSI and ask them what's going on. That's the same board Tom's Hardware used and had no problem increasing the CPU clock multiplier with the latest BIOS: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pentium-g3258-b81-c...
